Spencer Pauley is a sophomore at Ohio Wesleyan. He is a journalism major with a and minors in history.

What Spencer learned from this project will help him after he graduates from college: “This project showed me how we as journalists can help shine light on an issue and make people aware,  of the issue so solutions can be discussed and executed."

Liz Hardaway is a junior at Ohio Wesleyan University. Originally from Houston, Texas, she is a journalism major with a minor in politics and government.

Human trafficking has become a very prevalent issue in the past few years and Liz hopes to educate people on why human trafficking happens, and more importantly, how to stop it.  After graduation, Liz wants to work at a magazine or newspaper covering breaking news and exploring issues such as this one.

Alanna Henderson, class of 2018, is earning her degree in journalism. She is from Toledo, Ohio.

With the city of Toledo as a prime target area for trafficking, she was inspired to learn more about the issue and how to become a better advocate. She hopes this project will also inspire others to get involved and become more aware. After graduation, Alanna wants to work for a public relations firm and continue being a voice for the trapped.
